Title

Development with TYPO3 5.0

Authors

Robert Lemke

Abstract

Writing beautiful code is all but small potatoes - it is essential for creating flexible, easy to maintain applications. Methodologies such as Domain Driven Design help you to stay focused on the true concerns of your applications while Aspect Oriented Programming and Dependency Inject help you with the implementation. TYPO3 brings these powerful
techniques to the PHP world.

The new TYPO3 Framework lays the foundation of TYPO3 5.0. Its design was inspired by dozens of other frameworks from the Smalltalk, Python, Ruby and Java world and established principles which partly exist since the beginning of desktop computing but never made it to the PHP world. On top of this spicy mixture we added the seasoned TYPO3 flavour - so TypoScript will still be your friend.

This session gives you a peek into the current development state of the TYPO3 Framework and its main features such as Aspect Oriented Programming, Dependency Injection and the Model View Controller Framework.
